Year 9 BTEC pupils are taking part in a Mural Project for the St. Paul’s Way Trust Dr’s Surgery in collaboration with Bromley-by-Bow Arts Centre. They are working with the artist Frank Creber and Mina Nelson, Ayesha Lulat, Joe Hall and Julie North.
The aim of the project is to create a tranquil and uplifting, family friendly design and might include a farming landscape, a fruit market, animals and aspects of the urban environment. The pupils will make an 8-foot canvas inspired Mexican mural artists.
Pupils will also be involved with the design of a logo for the GP surgery and wider health network and also a series of banners that will hang in the Atrium of the school as part of the Dec 9th concert to be organised by Michael Bochmann.
