A unique artwork at every station to celebrate 150 years of the Tube
A dynamic programme of events, activities and initiatives are underway throughout 2013 to accompany Labyrinth.
Great News! We have won the secondary school category for the Labyrinth Schools Poster Competition Celebrating 150 Years of London Underground
This opportunity was part of Art on the Underground’s engagement programme for Labyrinth, a major new Tube-wide artwork by leading British artist Mark Wallinger as
part of the celebrations for the Tube's 150th anniversary that will see a permanent artwork in all 270 stations.
The high level of enthusiasm and creativity was evident in the 800+ designs created by students aged 5-18 years old and entered by schools across 27 boroughs.

Mark Wallinger selected the artwork by: Darcy Livermore-Ephraim as the Winner of the Secondary Category and Rayhan Karim has been Commended in the Secondary School Category. Well done!

Art on the Underground Prize Giving
On Thursday 3 October, at Southwark Tube station Darcy and Rayhan attended Art on the Underground's Competition Prize Giving and Press Photocall on where the three winners and nine commended students each met artist Mark Wallinger and Mike Brown, Managing Director of London Underground and Rail and were awarded their certificates and prizes.
