50 Children / 50 Artists
St Paul's Way Trust School at department has been selected by London-based charity Miracles to take part in their most recent campaign 50 Children/50 Artists, a project dedicated to providing 50 Tower Hamlets children with the unique and positive experience of having their portrait painted by a renowned artist (Tai Shan Schierenberg self portrait pictured left).
The objective of the project is to bring together 50 children currently living in the Tower Hamlets area and pair them up with a London-based artist. Each will work closely with their assigned child and together a painting and/or photograph will be completed for each of the 50 children. Once completed the collection of 50 artworks will officially go on exhibit.
