National Portrait Gallery - Creative Connections
Contemporary works in various media by young people from St Paul's Way Trust School, Mile End, in collaboration with artist Lucy Steggals, celebrating inspirational individuals from their local neighbourhood.
In association with the National Portrait Gallery, artist Lucy Steggals worked with Year 10 students on their project ‘Creative Connections’.
'Creative Connections' is a four year long project that works with contemporary artists to invite students to develop a further relationship with the National Portrait Gallery collection and the sitters who are represented there. The first year has been in partnership with St. Paul’s Way Trust and explores the borough of Tower Hamlets.
